The world is getting increasingly inter-connected. In merely a few decades since the advent of the first computer, the speed of and reliance on computing has been growing exponentially over the years. Smartphones, tablets and other gizmos are becoming increasingly ubiquitous. Information and communication technology (ICT) has become the backbone of modern living.
The PCS InfoComm Club endeavours to nurture its members to be at the forefront of technology guided by. Its members are currently learning to do coding in Tickle on iPads. They will eventually be guided to do their own coding to fly drones within the school premise.

3rd National Coding Competition 2017
The 2 teams from our school’s InfoComm Club had been awarded the Bronze Award for their participation in the National Coding Competition held on 29 June 2017 at Springfield Secondary School. In this competition, participants were required to create a game in Scratch 2.0 surrounding the theme of Cloud Computing. Congratulations to the boys! Special thanks to the pupils’ parents who had rendered their support to the boys during the June school holidays as they went about their preparation for the competition.
KIDS’s Hackathon (2016)
Our PCS Team 1 clinched the top prize at IDA Kids’ Hackathon 2016! . The event was held at Suntec City Convention Centre on Saturday 21 May 2016. They were the only team who had managed to complete all the assigned tasks, and in record time, scoring a perfect score of 150/150.

Code For Fun Competition (2015)
TAN CHONG YI, RYAN (5C), TAN DE EN (5D), TAN WEI HAO (5E) and LIN YIXIN MELISSA (5E) were awarded the Bronze Award for the inaugural Code For Fun Competition organized by Springfield Secondary School. The competition was held on 10 July 2015 while the award ceremony was held just last Friday, 28 September 2015.
The objectives of the competition are: (1) to provide a platform for Primary School pupils to develop an interest in computer programming through game development and (2) to provide an opportunity for pupils to showcase their work and hone their presentation and communication skills.
E1 Cluster ICT Journalism/Photography Competition (2014)
Our InfoComm Club pupils had won the Best Creativity award from the E1 Cluster ICT Journalism/Photography Competition which was held for P4 to secondary school students on 9 and 10 September 2014.
