Students' Work

IDA Lab on Wheels bus was in Poi Ching School on 16th and 17th of February 2016.
The P4 students had a chance to participate in the activities on board the IDA bus. They learnt how wearable aims to integrate technology into our everyday lives with the goal of making life more hassle-free and connecting with people.
They also found out more about these small yet intricate devices and what is inside them using a blown-up circuit board model! Each student was given a wearable watch to put on and was introduced to the various apps in the watch (eg pedometer, altimeter etc). They learnt about the various components inside a wearable and its uses in the real world.
The P4 students had an engaging time learning some programming concepts using Lightbot. They practised concepts like sequence, conditions and loops. They had the opportunity to create their own program to solve the puzzle and ran the program and see if the solution holds.
