Mission / 使命

To provide a vibrant learning environment that stimulates the students’ appreciation in Chinese Culture and Arts, focuses on their character development and cultivates their language skills.

为学生们提供一个充满生气的学习环境，促进他们对中华文化与艺术的赏析，培养正直品格以及提升语文能力。

A student who spends 6 years of primary school education in PCS would thus has opportunities to be exposed to, and experience various Chinese Art and Cultural programmes. If he/she is a student with outstanding performance and abilities, he/she would also have the opportunity to further enrich his/her learning and develop his/her skills. Overall, the student would have been actively engaged in various stages of his/her primary school journey, learning various aspects about the Chinese language and culture.

We pursuit excellence through competitions and performances. We will provide platforms for students to showcase their talents on Wushu, Chinese Speech & Drama, Chinese Drum, Chinese Opera,  Chinese Chess, Chinese Calligraphy & English / Chinese Translation.

在培青接受六年小学教育的学生有机会接触并体验各种中华艺术和文化。如果他/她是一位表現和能力卓著的学生，他/她还有机会进一步丰富他/她的学习并发展他/她的技能。总体而言，学生将积极参与学习有关中华语言与文化。

2021年全国小学华语讲故事比赛

2021 National Primary School Chinese Storytelling Competition

 新加坡福建会馆与新加坡中学华文教师会联办、道南学校协办、UFM100.3支持的“2021年全国小学华语讲故事比赛”，来自62所小学的124名学生参加了比赛，7月2日15名学生进入大决赛，5E 的庄乐恩获得优胜奖。

The 2021 National Primary School Chinese Storytelling Competition was organized by the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan, together with the Singapore Middle School Chinese Teachers’ Association and Tao Nan School, with Support from UFM100.3.  Attracted total 124 students from 62 Primary Schools to participate in the competition.

5E Joy Chong Le’en completed the online preliminary round on 4 June and competed the online final on 2nd July with 15 students and won the Merit Prize.

Online 4th Text Recital Competition for Primary and Secondary Schools

15 of our P2 to P5 students participated in the online 4th Text Recital Competition for Primary and Secondary Schools, jointly organised by Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (CPCLL), Anderson Primary School and Singapore Chinese Teachers Literary Recital Society.
